Kyra Tang is a Hong Kong-Canadian actor, and writer, celebrated for her adaptability in comedic character work and dramatic roles in both film and theatre. Growing up in Asia and receiving a Westernized education, Kyra carries herself as a performer with experiences from both the East and West through her trilinguality, international acting training, and adaptability, which she particularly made evident in her highly celebrated one-woman comedy show at the Toronto Fringe Festival, ‘Kyra de Magica’, which she wrote, performed, and produced.

Making use of her extensive education from Hong Kong, United Kingdom, New York, and Toronto, she has lent her talents in her versatility of improv, character comedy, and drama at renowned theatre companies such as Tarragon, and What The Festival, and most recently, an upcoming sitcom named ‘Destination Oshawa’ for Bell Canada. With a broad set of skills spanning the entertainment scene, Kyra continues to be a driving force as a proactive young talent.
